Welcome to Bluehawk Electronics, we specialise in the test and repair of automotive ECUs (Electonic Control Units).

The main area of expertise of control units we have lies with :

Fuel Injection Systems

Combined Ignition/Fuel Management Systems

Our Knowledge is constantly growing to suit our customers needs, hence we are also happy to view and repair where possible other type of ecu's including transmission units and abs units.

We at Bluehawk Electronics have developed our own dedicated test rig, which can be used to test virtually any type of ECU. The test rig we have is not available on the market to buy and is designed specifically for testing ECUs

It requires a skilled technician to use our test rig and works by simulating all the inputs that the ECU under test would see on the actual vehicle, for example:

Engine Speed
Road Speed
Temperature
Manifold Vacuum
Throttle Position
Barometric Pressure

and allowing the technician to put the ECU through a full range of operating conditions and checking its response - the rig also connects the ECU to a range of ouput actuators that it would have to control on a real car, ie ignition coil, injectors, relays, solenoid valves, etc.
